現在，你已經做好了丟東西的心理準備，下一步便是學習如何丟掉東西以提升運氣。

到底哪些東西要丟、哪些要留下來，很多人會卡在這一關。「我實在不知道該扔掉哪些東西⋯⋯」於是，就停在這一步了。

其實你根本不用擔心，只要用一個標準來判斷就好了：對現在的你而言，這樣東西到底需不需要？

在判斷該不該丟掉某件物品時，如果你想著「這個還能用，就留下來吧」，那就麻煩了。

要是以「還能用／不能用」作為判斷標準，由於幾乎所有物品都還可以用，你的東西絲毫不會減少。

講得極端一點，無論是你學生時期的制服，或是你幾年前買的已經退流行的衣服，都還是能穿，但重點是：你「現在」需要嗎？

判斷物品的去留時，只須將重點放在眼前這一刻。如此一來，你便能一眼看出這樣東西的重要性。

請你以現在這一刻為重—把家整理成「現在」可以讓你感到舒適的狀態，讓「現在」的你心情愉快。請以這個標準，判斷一件物品該丟掉，或是留下來。

如果你因為「哪天可能會用到」，為了不確定的將來，而在家裡堆了許多不需要的東西，便是在犧牲你的「現在」。

密宗重視的是「讓現在這一刻幸福」。只留下能讓現在的自己感到幸福的東西—請抱著這種心態決定物品的去留吧。

將整理範圍內的物品「全部拿出來」

我的朋友整理士小松易認為整理和整頓並不相同。他主張，收拾物品的第一個步驟是「整理」，第二個則是「整頓」。

•步驟1：整理將物品分為「需要」和「不需要」兩大類，丟掉不需要的東西，只留下需要的。
•步驟2：整頓將需要的物品擺放整齊，方便取用。

以整理五斗櫃為例，關鍵在於一口氣將抽屜裡的所有東西都拿出來。

大部分人會先打開抽屜，尋找有沒有不需要的東西，找到後一個一個挑出來丟掉。接著，再將剩下那些需要的物品排整齊。

這樣做看不太出來整理前後的差異，經常讓人覺得「好像有整理，又好像沒整理」。之所以會有這種感覺，是因為「找到不需要的東西後，再一個一個挑出來」這樣的做法本身是有問題的。

如果希望看起來和感覺起來都清爽無比，祕訣就是將抽屜裡的東西狠狠地一口氣全部拿出來。

如此一來，抽屜便會完全淨空，你可以親眼看到裡頭什麼都沒有的狀態。這也是其中一項優點。讓抽屜從亂七八糟的狀態歸零，回到空無一物之後，你就能為這片空間塑造全新的印象。

除了五斗櫃，整理更衣室、辦公桌、倉庫等區域時，一樣可以運用這個方法。只要可以一口氣將裡面的東西都拿出來，你就能輕鬆區分需要和不需要的物品，然後將空間整理得清爽無比。

接下來要做的，就是建立一套明確的規則，決定這些東西該放到哪裡。

東西之所以散落各處，最大的原因就是你沒有將物品歸位，到處亂放。因此，如果可以明確規定物品的擺放處—給每樣東西一個「地址」，並貼上標籤，讓地址清楚可見，就能獲得良好的效果。
